Charter Leaders,

Vote

A Joint Republican Caucus press release listed its “100 Days that Will Change North Carolina” agenda for 2011. Item 7 of the 10 point plan for North Carolina included “Eliminating the cap on charter schools”. The Alliance encourages the state’s Democrats to make the same pledge. Early voting begins Oct. 14, 18 days away!

Charter Summit

The October 21 gathering of businesses and charter supporters will be at the Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel. Tony Zeiss will keynote the dinner. Richard Vinroot and Kieran Shanahan will provide key legal information updates for your schools. A table for 8 is only $300 and we have the state hotel rate of $65.90 (and no parking) for those who stay overnight.
