The North Carolina Alliance for Public Charter Schools (Alliance) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. The Alliance is also registered with the NC Secretary of state as a nonprofit corporation.

The Alliance is the only fulltime organization solely committed to advancing the quality charter schools in our state. The NC Alliance works to increase the number of high performing charter schools available to all families, particularly low-income and minority families who currently do not have access to quality public schools.
The NC Alliance Board of Directors is chaired by Paul Norcross, founder of Phoenix Academy Charter, and includes charter school administrators as well as other professionals dedicated to improving education in North Carolina.
