The NC Alliance for Public Charter Schools announces a one-day charter start-up session designed for those thinking about applying for a North Carolina charter school. This seven-hour training session aims to empower future charter leaders with knowledge for the development of a competitive charter application and an effective charter school.

Charter Starter – Ideal for persons seeking general information about the NC Charter School movement and the process for obtaining a charter contract.

When: Thursday, March 17th, 2011, 9am – 4pm (Working Lunch Provided)

Where: Charlotte, NC

Cost: $295 per attendee and $195 for second and other attendees from same charter interest group (for an extra $100 attendees (less than half regular price) can obtain a badge for the entire 2011 State Charter Schools Conference to be held July 31-August 2 at the Marriott Raleigh). NC Alliance members will receive a 50% discount per attendee. Also, if you’ve attended one of our previous workshops you will also receive a 50% discount.
